Robert "Bobby" Earl Jordan 

1967 graduate of Southside High School 

Born on January 19, 1949 in Elizabeth, New Jersey

1966 WBTWS Best Back in the Pee Dee

Won the team MVP award as a Senior in high school

1966 Florence Most Outstanding Athlete Award

Member of the All State High School football team in 1966

Played on High School State Champion Baseball team in 1965, 66, 67

MVP in 1971 as a senior on Wofford baseball team

All District at Wofford in football in 1969

1969 NAIA National Scoring Leader in Football at Wofford-21 touchdowns

Wofford College All Time Team member as elected in 1984

Second in scoring in school football history- 266 points

Set 6 school records in football while attending Wofford

Member of the Wofford Athletic Hall of Fame elected in 1986

Bobby was nominated by his son, Robert Jordan. Ive only been able to play for and watch my father as a coach where he has displayed compassion and integrity towards the kids and the game. He has also achieved a level of success in coaching youth leagues as well as success as a player. It is an honor to nominate him for the Hall of Fame.
