Received B.S. for Biology from Wofford College in 1971 (Cum Laude)

Graduated 1974 from MUSC as a Doctor of Dental Medicine


Varsity football player all 4 years at McClenaghan High School

Captain of the 1966 Varsity Football Team

1966 All State selection

1967 Started in the North-South All Star Football Game

1967 Won the State Championship in the Discus with an existing school record of 153'4"

       Finished third in the State Meet in the Shot Put

1967 Ira Rainwater Award winner

1967-70 Started at Wofford on the Offensive Line

1969 Selected First Team Little All American National Team

1970 Co-captain of the only Wofford undefeated team and played in the

       NAIA Championship Game vs Texas A & I

1970 Selected First Team Little All American Team

1973 Inducted into the Wofford College Hall of Fame

1977-88 Member of the South Atlantic Conference Officials Association

1985 to present Member of the Atlantic Coast Conference Varsity

       Officials Association where he has worked over 210 Varsity games & 6 Bowl Games
