"Andy" Scott Bostick

• 1991 Graduate of South Florence High School
• 1993 Graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College with AA degree in Criminal Justice
• 1995 Graduate of University of South Carolina with degree in Interdisciplinary Studies
• As a sophomore named to the All Pee Dee Area Basketball Team
• SFHS Most Valuable Player as a sophomore, junior, and senior
• As a Junior and Senior he was named All Conference and All State
• As a senior he averaged 24 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals per game and played in the SC Coaches Association All Star Game
• At Spartanburg Junior College he was named All Conference and All State as a sophomore
• Accepted a scholarship and played basketball at the University of South Carolina as a junior and senior under Coach Eddie Fogler
• Named one of the top 100 basketball players in the history of University of South Carolina over a one hundred year period
• After graduating from USC, he played with Athletes in Action and Double Pump and professionally overseas in Sweden, China, Dominican Republic and Philippines.
• Served as an assistant coach for men’s basketball at Timmonsville HS in 2001 and SFHS in 2011
• Volunteer motivational guest speaker and runs youth Summer basketball camps
• Currently employed in the food services industry
