  • 1996 graduate of Francis Marion University with a B.S. Degree in Political Science
  • Played on the Varsity High School Golf Team 7th thru 12th grade
  • Was the team MVP 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th and 12th grade
  • Five time All Conference & SCISA All State
  • Three time medalist in SCISA AA Golf Tournament & Runner Up once
  • Led Byrnes to SCISA Class AA State Golf Championship in 1990 & 1991
  • Morning News Golfer of the Year in 1991
  • Winner of Heinz Southern 500 Junior Championship
  • Winner of Pineland Junior Invitational
  • Winner of Junior and Men’s Championship at CCSC
  • At FMU he was the winner of Pembroke State University Invitational
  • Awarded the Cliff Cormell MVP Award at FMU as a Freshmen and Senior
  • Qualifier for the SC Amateur Golf Tournament
  • Co-Captain of the FMU Golf Team as a Junior & Senior
  • Named to All State Golf Team as a Sophomore and Senior at FMU
  • Earned FMU Patriots Brigade & Ben Hogan Golf Scholarships
  • At FMU he was named Academic All American Scholar by Golf Association of America
  • Served as FMU Golf Coach from 1996-2003 where they won the Peach Belt Tournament Championship in 1999 & 2001
  • Named Peach Belt Athletic Coach of the Year in 1999 & 2001
  • Head Coach in 2003 as FMU won the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf National Championship
  • Served as General Manager for the Country Club of South Carolina
