- In high school, he received 9 letters as a trainer
- At Clemson in 1971‐73, he was a trainer for the football and freshmen
basketball team
- From 1973‐2012 he served as Head Athletic Trainer for all sports at
FMU
- During the Summer months he served as trainer for the professional minor league
baseball team in Spokane, Washington
- Received the “Joe Martin Award” for Service to Professional Baseball
- He was presented the award for 25 years Professional Baseball Service by
Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers
- He was inn charge of the Everett Baseball Aqua Sox Community Care programs
